Editorial Guidelines

Anchordeco covers white sofas and cozy living rooms, bedrooms and built-in beds, wallpaper and wall murals, gallery walls, closets and laundry rooms, home offices, and the outside of the house from white exteriors to porches and sheds. This page explains how I pick topics, how an Anchordeco article gets made now and what happens when something in it is wrong.

Who Runs Anchordeco

Paul K. Moseley is the pen name I publish under. Behind it is one person, based in Vietnam, who runs a small group of sites. I’m not an interior designer or a licensed contractor, and nothing on Anchordeco should read as if I were.

How an Article Gets Made Now

  1. Topic. Topics come from what people search on Google and save on Pinterest, grouped so one article answers one clear question.
  2. Research. For a researched guide, I start from the pages that already rank for that question, usually 5 to 9 of them.
  3. First draft. AI writes the first draft from those pages, with the direct answer near the top and details below it.
  4. Figure check. In researched guides, figures in the AI draft are checked against the pages they came from, and mismatches are flagged before I review the post. Idea collections and roundups don’t get that check.
  5. My read. I read every Anchordeco article before it goes live, fix what reads wrong and cut what doesn’t help.
  6. Publishing. The article goes live with the short affiliate note that sits under every post title.

What the Figure Check Looks At

When a researched guide goes through step 4, the comparison covers measurements, clearances, sizes and prices. It compares the draft with its own source pages. It is not a professional’s review, which is why the notes below matter.

Before You Rely on an Article

  • Measure your own space. Sizes and clearances in a post are typical figures. Measure your room, doors and stairs before you buy.
  • Anchor what can tip. Tall furniture, shelves, mirrors and TVs need anchors rated for their weight and for your wall.
  • Wiring, gas and plumbing go to a pro. If a job involves electrical work, gas lines, structural changes or a permit, follow local codes and hire a licensed professional.

Pictures

Pictures on Anchordeco are AI-generated illustrations of a room, a layout or a decor idea, not photos of a real home. If a picture shared by someone else is ever used, it carries the @handle of the account that shared it, linked to the original post. Image rights are covered on the Copyright, Images & DMCA Notice page.
